Psychedelic Integration

What Is It?

Psychedelic integration is a form of psychotherapy that supports the psychological processing of altered-state experiences.

Such experiences can be profound, disorienting, illuminating, destabilizing — or all at once. Integration work helps translate what was felt or perceived into grounded understanding, emotional clarity, and sustainable change in daily life.

This work does not involve the provision or facilitation of substances. It focuses on reflection, emotional processing, nervous system regulation, and bringing insights into lived reality.

Psychedelic integration is suitable both as a standalone process and as part of ongoing psychotherapy.

What Integration Sessions May Include

Integration may involve:
● Processing imagery, symbolic material, and emotional themes● Understanding shifts in identity, values, or relational perception● Working with activation, anxiety, or destabilization following an experience● Supporting nervous system regulation and grounding● Distinguishing insight from impulsive decision-making● Integrating spiritual or existential themes into everyday psychological life
Sessions are collaborative and carefully paced.
Sometimes integration means deep exploration.
At other times, it means slowing down and stabilizing before drawing conclusions.

My Approach

I approach integration through a clinically grounded, trauma-informed framework, informed by contemporary research and respectful awareness of traditional contexts in which altered states have been used.
My training includes MAPS-informed and Fluence education, as well as other specializations in psychedelic integration. I have experience supporting individuals and groups in retreat settings, with a focus on psychological grounding, relational awareness, and post-experience integration.
My background in body-oriented psychotherapy is particularly relevant in this field. Altered states often amplify somatic memory, nervous system activation, and early relational dynamics. Working with embodied awareness allows insights to be metabolized rather than analyzed only intellectually.
I do not provide or facilitate psychedelic substances, nor do I advise on sourcing.
